Dried cod tripe is a traditional seafood delicacy and one of the most prized ingredients in hearty seafood stews . It has a gelatinous texture that becomes smooth and creamy when cooked , with an intense sea flavor that is neither harsh nor overly salty. We process and vacuum-pack them to preserve freshness, quality, and a balanced salt level . To prepare them at home, simply soak them in cold water for several hours, changing the water a couple of times. If you prefer a milder result, you can give them a quick blanch in hot water .
